DRAPER, Utah, September 13
- Learnframe, a leading developer of e-Learning infrastructure technologies, was recognized as the
"outstanding'' ad among all participating e-Learning companies including the Microsoft Corporation. The ad appeared in Training and Development during Learnframe's highest quarter for revenue growth.
The ad, created in conjunction with Smith Lyons Creative as part of an
"Extreme Sports'' series, was successful on two fronts. It was rated highest for reader recall by Ad Q, and was a major factor in the success of our company's second quarter. The ad featured a surfer riding the face of a monster wave. It read,
"You may never be able to do this, but you can do something far more difficult.'' The more difficult task is managing the learning within a corporation; a task which Learnframe makes simple.
"We are excited about this award and the attention we have gained from it,'' said Ron Sanders, vice president of Marketing.
"e-Learning is a hot topic and we wanted to keep up with the changing audience by creating an ad that would stick in the minds of our customers. We're very happy to have achieved that goal!''
The report rating had two categories, one including all readers and another rating of those readers who buy specific advertised products. Each category rated readers on seeing the ad and reading the ad. Learnframe (formerly Pinnacle Multimedia) captured 44% of the readers, while Microsoft Corp captured 34%.
"This is great news for a local ad firm to produce an ad that beats the readership of a giant like Microsoft,'' said Scott Smith, president of Smith Lyons.
"When Learnframe agreed to produce the ''Surfer" ad, we believed it would stand out from the other ads in its market. We were thrilled to see that it did. It's great to have a forward-thinking client like Learnframe who allows us to step outside of the established mold and stir things up a little.''
